Boringdon Park Golf Club Location: Devon The course has been designed to a high standard. All the greens are built to USA specification, which is 80% sand and 20% top soil, for all year round free draining and putting performance. The tees and fairways have been seeded with a hard wearing rye grass. The rough has been seeded with a dwarf variety of grass, so it will not grow too thick (keeping lost balls to a minimum), but still grow up spindly to give definition. The course has been shaped, to allow each hole to have an individual character with water and sand features coming into play and approximately 10,000 trees are being planted. The backdrop on one side of the course is a view looking out over the moors and the other looking over Plymouth and out to sea.

Brean Golf Club Location: Somerset Water features come into play on many of the holes providing formidable hazards to the flat landscape. The greens are irrigated by a popup sprinkler system and the fairways, being cut from meadowland, remain lush even in drought and are well drained. Therefore the course is seldom closed. Being on the coast wind is often a feature, adding to the challenge of the course. Packages available for groups or societies.
